Description
Hamilton electric "Meteor" wrist watch with 505 movement c1960. Manufactured during the period of man's race to the moon, this iconic model has the meteor tail at 7 o'clock; only 3000 examples produced. The dial is in excellent condition; the radium filled hands have minor filling loss on the minute hand. Comes in a Hamilton 10K gold filled asymmetric case with very light wear on the corners and edges of the lugs plus slight wear on the case corners; the tip of the tab on the back to pry the case open is missing but the case can be opened easily; the crown has the "H" Hamilton logo; there is a light gap on the case on the crown-side; has an acrylic crystal with faint scratches on the edge near 10 o'clock and a scratch near the center; the black leather strap is like-new. Keeps good time.
