Watches are graded along a scale of Poor/Fair/Good/Very Good/Excellent/Near Mint/Mint/NOS meaning new old stock which is possibly unused. When grading a pocket watch, I will rate the case, dial, and crystal in terms of condition and will also point out any possible replacement parts noticed. The model, movement grade or other relevant details will also be described.

The basic elements of a wristwatch to be described are the case, dial, crystal and band (as well as the movement). I do not repair watches and do not disassemble a watch for inspection prior to sale.
