Description
Ball Hamilton 16s 23j SW/LS grade 999 railroad approved pocket watch #B607223 c1917. The nickel movement has solid gold jewel settings and a jeweled motor barrel; solid gold center wheel; adjusted to 5 positions. The SS enamel arabic numeral dial is in near-mint condition with no chips or hairlines and says "Ball Official RR Standard Cleveland;" has excellent blued steel hands. Comes in a Ball Model silveroid SB & B loaner case in very good condition with remnants of the number "97" in the center of the back plus faded writing in the surrounding concentric circle; has two slight dings on the back; the covers screw on/off with ease and the bezel has been fitted with an NOS beveled glass crystal. This watch was cleaned/oiled in April 2011--runs well and keeps good time.
